Final GOLF 4 CIRCULARITY Seminar Successfully Held in Sofia

The final seminar of the GOLF 4 CIRCULARITY project was successfully held today in Sofia, bringing together project partners, golf professionals, and stakeholders committed to the future development of golf through sustainability, inclusion, and circular economy principles.

The event marked the conclusion of an ambitious and impactful international project aimed at integrating environmentally responsible practices, social inclusion, and dual career development into grassroots golf across Europe. Throughout the seminar, partners reviewed the key outcomes of the project, shared best practices, and discussed the long-term impact of the project on golf clubs, federations, and the wider community.

Presentations highlighted the innovative educational resources developed during the project, including training materials, sustainability guidelines for golf organizations, and digital tools supporting knowledge exchange. Partners also reflected on the success of international collaboration and knowledge transfer between countries, which has been a cornerstone of the project’s success.

A key focus of the seminar was the sustainability of project results beyond the official project timeline. Partners discussed future cooperation, dissemination strategies, and continued use of the project’s outcomes to ensure that the work carried out under GOLF 4 CIRCULARITY continues to benefit the golf community long after the project’s conclusion.

The seminar concluded with a strong commitment from all partners to continue promoting sustainable practices in golf and to use the project’s resources actively within their organizations and networks.

GOLF 4 CIRCULARITY leaves a lasting legacy by proving that golf can be both environmentally responsible and socially inclusive while supporting education and innovation across the sport.
