This GOLF4CIRCULARITY integrated report offers a detailed examination of current golf courses in Austria, Bulgaria, Iceland, and North Macedonia, focusing on sustainable training methods and environmental practices. It explores performance metrics, efforts towards environmental sustainability, community engagement, adaptation techniques, and the challenges faced. The findings are structured according to a template developed by project specialists and include collaborations with both local and national golf associations.

The deliverable serves as a guide for golf associations, providing insights into overcoming challenges and enhancing sustainability in the sport. A thorough methodology is detailed, comprising an extensive survey conducted among associated golf clubs. This survey seeks to collect insights on sustainable golf training methods through targeted questionnaires, online surveys, interviews, and consultations with club representatives.

The project aims to identify and document innovative strategies employed by golf clubs to minimise environmental impact and positively affect surrounding communities. Practices scrutinised include water conservation, energy efficiency, waste management, and habitat preservation. The objective is to develop practical recommendations and promote sustainability within the global golfing community.
